Whether we like it or not we all are consciously, and subconsciously, drawing experiences into our lives. These experiences can be viewed as positive or negative but, in truth, they are all positive because they encourage growth. This concept has been explored a bit in our mainstream culture through books like, “The Secret.” Although we are very capable of bringing forth abundance and pleasure in our lives it is also important to acknowledge the importance of drawing in the uncomfortable. This tends to be done more in the subconscious but, as you become more of a conscious being, you will be able to anticipate these life lessons, sometimes clearing and healing them with little to no pain or struggle; eliminating the need for deep suffering and making more space for manifesting dreams.
It is important to understand that the body and soul are incredibly intelligent, knowing exactly what you need and when you need it. When the soul has fragments that are calling to be healed we can actually draw the past back into our present reality. This is why so many people remain stuck in negative patterns or relationships. Although it feels like the soul is punishing itself, it is actually cleaning house and presenting opportunities for healing. In this sense, time does not even really exist because the past can always be in the here and now. The more present you remain, the less likely you will be thrown for a loop when your past literally circles right back around to your current reality.
When those conflicts are not released, or healed, and are ignored, they can become stuck in our body memory, leading to what we call dis-ease. We become the proverbial bag lady, with the baggage held within our muscles, organs, and skeletal structure. Again, this is another form of discomfort reminding us that we have some work to do.
Because of this ability to store, we want to make sure that we clear things as they present themselves. The key is not to avoid discomfort but to become aligned with our inner truth so that destabilization does not have to be as dense. In other words, the goal should be a light tap on the shoulder instead of a whack on the back. Clearing requires love for self and others, because the only way to allow something to release is through acknowledgment and love. In this sense, we honor our pain so that it does not have to hold us prisoner. The more we heal and release the easier it becomes to create our own reality. When we do the work and clear our the basement we have more room to bring in the new and desired.
